Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this'd be alright for running the hydraulics on my backhoe?
Question by: Brett F on Jul 17, 2025, 1:26 PM
This Danfoss/Eaton pump is often used on loader backhoes, among other equipment like tractors and excavators, so it should work well.

Got a mini excavator that's been chewing through pumps and I'm trying to figure out if this one's built for that kind of work. It see pretty heavy duty cycles, runs most of the day. This the right fit?
Question by: Kent S on May 19, 2025, 9:43 AM
Heavy daily use on a mini excavator is exactly the kind of application this pump is built around. The 420 Series open circuit piston design handles demanding duty cycles, and mini excavators are specifically listed among the equipment it's intended for. The 2.50 CID (41cc) displacement gives it solid flow and pressure capacity to keep up with load-intensive work without falling behind on cycle speed or system recovery.
