You'll find this Danfoss/Eaton pump used in a wide range of applications, from loader backhoes and mining machinery to agricultural tractors and container handling equipment. It’s also a good fit for material handling trucks and rough terrain forklifts.

what all can this pump handle? got equipment running loader backhoes and some mining machinery and wondering if one unit covers both them uses
Question by: Dwight W on Nov 2, 2025, 7:32 PM
Loader backhoes and mining machinery are both on the application list for this pump, so yeah, one unit covers that ground. It also works across dump truck lifts, agriculture tractors, chemical applicator trucks, container handling, rough terrain forklifts, crawler dozers, mini excavators, and a good stretch of other heavy equipment. The 420 Series was built with that kind of range in mind, so running it across multiple machine types in a mixed fleet is a reasonable setup.
