Just wanna be sure, this'll work on my mini excavator?

Got a mini excavator and a crawler dozer both running off the same machine setup, would this pump hold up across both those applications or is it more of a one-trick pony?

Both of those fall squarely within what the X20 420 Series was built for. Mini excavators and crawler dozers are both listed application types for this pump, so you're not stretching it or asking it to do something outside its design range. The 2.50 cubic inch displacement gives you solid flow capacity, and the platform handles variable and intermittent demand well, which is pretty common when you're switching between implements or load cycles on that kind of equipment.
