Will this Char-Lynn motor work as a replacement for an Eaton motor with the same specs?

Considering Danfoss's acquisition of Eaton's hydraulics division, this motor carries both the Danfoss and Eaton lineage, so it should function as a direct replacement if your Eaton motor has the same 4.88 cubic inch displacement and 420 Code B designation.

Been running Char-Lynn motors on our ag equipment for years. This one here with the 80cc displacement and that 420 Code B setup, that's still coming out of the Danfoss side of things now that they bought the hydraulics division from Eaton, right?

Correct on both counts. The 420 Code B designation points to a specific configuration covering the port layout, shaft type, and mounting interface within the Char-Lynn geroler motor line. And yes, the Danfoss / Eaton label on this unit reflects that brand transition after Danfoss acquired Eaton's hydraulics division. The motor itself is still Char-Lynn lineage, just marketed under the combined branding now.
