What kinds of machines is the 420 Series pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a mini excavator on the same job site and tryin to figure out if one pump covers both applications.
Question by: Cody C on Jan 22, 2026, 7:27 PM
Both of those fall squarely within the intended application range for this pump. The X20 420 Series was put together with exactly that kind of mobile equipment in mind, and the list covers loader backhoes and mini excavators along with crawler dozers, articulated haulers, agriculture tractors, and a good stretch of other heavy mobile machinery. The 3.00 cubic inch displacement and the open circuit axial piston design give it the pressure and flow capacity to handle demanding work cycles across that variety of equipment.
