Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this pump'll hold up on a dump truck lift?
Question by: Terry E on Nov 8, 2025, 5:41 PM
Application-wise, it's definitely built for that. This Danfoss/Eaton pump is spec'd for dump truck lifts, along with other heavy-duty uses like loader backhoes and mining machinery.

Got a loader backhoe sitting idle right now cause the pump gave out. This a straight swap for the original open circuit piston pump, or is there more to it than that?
Question by: Larry H on Feb 13, 2026, 12:49 PM
For loader backhoe applications, this pump is specifically listed as a fit for that equipment type. The 3.80 CID (62cc) displacement and the 5.75-inch width are your best starting points for confirming a mechanical match with your existing setup. As long as your system is running an open circuit configuration, you're working in the right ballpark. Just cross-reference the supplier part number 421AK01545C against what you're pulling out and you should have a clear picture pretty quick.
