Product Questions & Answers

What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a mini excavator on the same jobsite and trying to figure out if one pump could work across both machines.

Loader backhoes and mini excavators are both explicitly listed as intended applications for this pump, so you're in good shape there. The 420 Series was put together with demanding mobile hydraulic work in mind, and the range of equipment it covers is pretty broad. Beyond those two, it's also spec'd out for crawler dozers, ag tractors, concrete and asphalt pavers, and heavier stuff like mining machinery and tunnel boring equipment. For a mixed-use jobsite with those two machine types, this displacement range at 3.80 CID is a reasonable fit.
