Product Questions & Answers

What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a couple other machines on the farm and trying to figure out if this fits what we run.
Question by: Ralph H on Oct 26, 2025, 8:37 AM
Loader backhoes are right in the wheelhouse for this pump. Beyond that, it covers a pretty wide range of mobile equipment including agriculture tractors, dump truck lifts, mini excavators, crawler dozers, and material handling trucks. Concrete pavers, feller/bunchers, and rough terrain forklifts are also on the approved application list. If you're running a mix of farm and utility equipment, this one was put together with exactly that kind of varied workload in mind.

Reckon this pump would hold up on my asphalt paver? We run that thing pretty hard all summer long.
Question by: Terry F on Mar 28, 2026, 9:40 PM
For concrete and asphalt pavers, this Danfoss / Eaton piston pump's robust build is made to deliver reliable performance. It's designed for tough settings, so it should be a good fit for your paver.
