Product Questions & Answers

Got a mini excavator and a crawler dozer both giving me trouble with the hydraulics, does this pump series actually cover that kind of equipment or is it more specialized toward one type?
Question by: Darryl O on Jul 4, 2025, 12:57 PM
Both of those fall right in line with what the X20 420 Series was built for. Mini excavators and crawler dozers are explicitly listed in the supported applications for this pump, along with a pretty wide range of other mobile equipment like loader backhoes, articulated haulers, and rough terrain forklifts. The 3.80 CID displacement and high pressure and flow capacity make it a practical fit across that kind of varied, heavy-duty work.

Can this Eaton-Danfoss pump handle continuous duty in a hydraulic system for a concrete paver?
Question by: Ronnie W on Aug 21, 2025, 11:29 AM
It's designed for heavy-duty cycles in mobile hydraulic applications, so concrete and asphalt pavers are well within its intended use. You shouldn't have any issues with continuous operation in that kind of equipment.
