Product Questions & Answers

Got a loader backhoe that needs a new pump and I been looking at this one. 3.80 CID displacement sound about right for that kind of machine?
Question by: Vince S on Nov 5, 2025, 7:26 PM
Loader backhoes are actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so you're in the right ballpark. The 62 CC displacement puts it in a solid working range for that equipment category. The 420 Series is built for mobile open circuit piston use, so it fits the duty profile of a backhoe loader pretty well. Width comes in at 5.75 inches, which tends to work in tighter engine bay configurations where space is a real concern.

What's the width on this Danfoss/Eaton X20 pump? Gotta make sure it'll fit where I need it.
