Got a mini excavator sitting idle cause the pump went out on it, would this Danfoss 420 Code B be a fit for that kind of machine?
Question by: Stan F on Jun 4, 2025, 5:03 PM
Mini excavators are actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so you're in the right ballpark. It's an open circuit piston pump with 4.88 CID (80cc) displacement, built for mobile hydraulic work exactly like that. The 420 series is known for fast response and recovery times, which matters a lot in excavator applications where you're constantly cycling through movements. Just make sure your system specs line up with the displacement before ordering.
