Product Questions & Answers

We run loader backhoes and a couple dump trucks on the farm operation here, and I'm trying to figure out if this pump covers both them applications or just one type of machine.

Both fall well within what this unit was built for. Loader backhoes and dump truck lifts are explicitly listed among the supported applications, so you're not stretching it to run this pump across that kind of mixed fleet. It's part of the X20 Open Circuit 420 Series from Danfoss, and that line was put together specifically with mobile equipment variety in mind.

So this pump can handle loader backhoes and ag tractors, but what else is it really meant for?
Question by: Pete W on Sep 21, 2025, 9:34 PM
Specifically, this hydraulic pump works well in chemical applicator trucks, railroad equipment, container handling, and all-terrain and truck cranes. It's also used in mining machinery, tunnel boring equipment, utility booms, off-road dump and refuse trucks, material handling trucks, rough terrain forklifts, concrete and asphalt pavers, feller/bunchers, forwarders, log loaders, and crawler dozers, plus articulate haulers and mini excavators.
