What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a couple ag tractors and just want to make sure this ain't overkill or the wrong fit before I pull the trigger.

Loader backhoes and agriculture tractors are both squarely in the application list for this pump, so you're not reaching on either one. It also covers mining machinery, mini excavators, crawler dozers, articulated haulers, concrete and asphalt pavers, rough terrain forklifts, and a good stretch of other heavy mobile equipment. The X20 Series was put together for demanding open circuit piston pump applications, so if your machines are working hard in the field, that's exactly the environment this unit is meant for.
