Would this work good on a dump truck lift?

pump's got 3.80 CID displacement, that big enough to handle something like a loader backhoe or a crawler dozer without bogging down?

For those kinds of machines, 62 cc of displacement at that pressure capacity is well within the range of what this pump was built for. Loader backhoes and crawler dozers are both explicitly listed applications, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. The 420 Series is rated for high pressure and high flow, which is exactly what those machines demand under load. You should get solid, consistent output without the pump struggling to keep pace.
