We run loader backhoes and a couple dump truck lifts pretty hard through the season. This the right pump for that kind of work or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?

Loader backhoes and dump truck lifts are specifically listed among the intended applications for this pump, so you're not pushing it outside its design range. The high pressure and flow capacity back that up for heavy, repetitive work cycles.
