Product Questions & Answers

what all kind of equipment is this pump typically used on? got a mini excavator and a loader backhoe both needin work and tryin to figure out if one pump fits more than one machine
Question by: Ralph R on Mar 8, 2026, 1:51 PM
Pretty broad range of equipment runs on this pump. Mini excavators and loader backhoes are both on the application list, along with crawler dozers, agriculture tractors, articulate haulers, concrete and asphalt pavers, feller/bunchers, container handling equipment, rough terrain forklifts, utility boom trucks, railroad equipment, and even tunnel boring machinery. So yes, both machines you mentioned fall right in line with what this pump is built for.

So, this thing is good for backhoes and such, but what about something like a forestry skidder? Will it hold up?

Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications, this open circuit axial piston pump is well-suited to equipment that sees heavy and continuous use. Applications such as feller/bunchers, forwarders and log loaders are listed as typical uses for this unit.
