Product Questions & Answers

Is this pump commonly used on a log loader or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Application-wise, you'll find this Danfoss/Eaton pump showing up in log loaders, along with feller/bunchers and forwarders. It's also used in a pretty wide range of other equipment, like loader backhoes and mining machinery.

What all can this pump be put to work on? Got a few different machines on the property and trying to figure out if one pump could cover more than one application.
Question by: Gene L on Jul 27, 2025, 11:46 AM
Quite a few machines fall within range for this unit. Loader backhoes, dump truck lifts, agriculture tractors, crawler dozers, rough terrain forklifts, concrete and asphalt pavers, and even mining equipment are all listed applications. Feller/bunchers, log loaders, forwarders, utility booms, and container handling setups are also on that list. It covers a broad spread of mobile open circuit hydraulic work, so there is a solid chance more than one of your machines lines up with what this pump was built for.
