Product Questions & Answers

What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a crawler dozer and a couple mini excavators and trying to figure out if this is the right direction.
Question by: Daryl Y on May 25, 2025, 11:14 AM
Crawler dozers and mini excavators are both squarely in the wheelhouse for this pump. The 420 Series covers a pretty broad range of heavy mobile equipment, including those two plus loader backhoes, agriculture tractors, mining machinery, concrete and asphalt pavers, rough terrain forklifts, and more. It's an open circuit axial piston pump rated for high-pressure, high-flow work, so demanding cycle loads on a dozer or excavator are exactly what it's meant to handle.

Reckon this'll work on my old tractor? It's a backhoe loader, and the hydraulics are givin' me fits.
Question by: Dale M on Jul 23, 2025, 2:57 PM
This pump is well-suited for loader backhoes and agriculture tractors, among other mobile platforms. It's designed to handle the high-pressure, high-flow requirements you'd typically find in that kind of equipment.
