Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this pump would do alright on my old tractor? It's mostly for running a backhoe attachment.
Question by: Ronnie A on May 13, 2025, 7:08 AM
This Danfoss/Eaton piston pump is often used in agricultural tractors, especially when running attachments like loader backhoes. It should provide the power and response you need.

What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a couple ag tractors and just want to make sure it ain't overkill or undersized before I pull the trigger.
Question by: Curt C on Nov 7, 2025, 6:17 AM
For that kind of equipment, you're in the right ballpark. The 420 series covers loader backhoes and agriculture tractors right out of the gate, along with things like dump truck lifts, rough terrain forklifts, and mining machinery. At 4.88 cubic inches of displacement and an 80cc rating, it's sized for serious mobile open-circuit work, not light-duty stuff. If your machines are running hydraulic systems that need high pressure and solid flow capacity, this pump fits the profile.
