Product Questions & Answers

What kind of machines does this pump usually go on? Seems like I'm always fixin' something.
Question by: Ralph D on May 30, 2025, 8:37 AM
Application-wise, this Danfoss/Eaton pump is used on a wide range of mobile equipment. Think loader backhoes, ag tractors, dozers, mini excavators, haulers, plows, and container handlers. It's also found on concrete and asphalt pavers, log loaders, and even railroad equipment.

got a mini excavator and a crawler dozer both running hard most of the season, this 80cc pump, is it built to handle that kind of back to back heavy use or is it more of a light duty option?
Question by: Ralph W on Jun 26, 2025, 11:14 AM
Heavy-duty continuous cycles are exactly what the 420 Series was built around. The pump carries an 80cc displacement with high pressure and flow capacity, and the control architecture is engineered specifically for fast response and recovery under demanding load conditions. Equipment like crawler dozers and mini excavators are both listed application fits, so running it hard across a full season is well within what this pump is intended for.
