What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a crawler dozer and a mini excavator on the farm and trying to figure out if either one of 'em would be a match.

Both of those machines fall squarely in the application range for this pump. Crawler dozers and mini excavators are among the equipment types this unit was designed around, along with loader backhoes, articulated haulers, agricultural tractors, and a good number of other mobile machines. The 420 Series platform it runs on is built for open circuit mobile hydraulic work, so if your equipment uses that kind of system, this pump is worth a serious look for either application.
