Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this'll fit on my backhoe loader without too much fuss?
Question by: Kurt A on May 12, 2025, 2:16 PM
Designed for loader backhoes, among other applications, this Danfoss/Eaton X20 open circuit piston pump should integrate into your system, provided your specifications align with its 3.80 CID (62CC) displacement.

Got a loader backhoe that needs a new pump and I keep seein this one come up. Is the X20 series actually built for that kind of equipment or is it more of a general-purpose unit?
Question by: Kurt M on Jun 26, 2025, 5:57 PM
Loader backhoes are right in the middle of what this pump was built for. The X20 open circuit piston pump covers a pretty wide range of mobile hydraulic applications, and loader backhoes are explicitly on that list alongside equipment like dump truck lifts, agriculture tractors, and rough terrain forklifts. The 3.80 CID displacement puts it in a solid working range for that class of machine, and the high pressure and flow capacity back that up for the kind of demand a backhoe puts on a hydraulic system.
