Product Questions & Answers

Can this pump handle the continuous duty I need for my asphalt paver without overheating or wearing out too fast?
Question by: Darryl O on Dec 10, 2025, 9:05 PM
Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications, the Danfoss 420 Series pump is built to hold up to the high-pressure and high-flow requirements common in heavy-duty equipment, including concrete and asphalt pavers.

what all kind of equipment does this pump actually work on? got a loader backhoe and a mini excavator on the same jobsite and trying to figure out if one part covers both
Question by: Dale B on Sep 26, 2025, 6:03 AM
Both of those machines are right in the wheelhouse for this pump. The 420 Series from Danfoss is built for mobile hydraulic applications, and the list of supported equipment covers loader backhoes and mini excavators directly. It also extends to crawler dozers, articulated haulers, agriculture tractors, concrete and asphalt pavers, container handling equipment, and a good stretch of others including railroad machinery and tunnel boring equipment. So yes, one pump family handles a wide range of mobile iron.
