pump's listed for loader backhoes and mining equipment, but what about concrete pavers or log loaders, does it work for those too?

Concrete and asphalt pavers are actually on the approved application list for this pump, and so are feller/bunchers, forwarders, and log loaders. The 420 Series covers a pretty wide range of heavy-duty mobile equipment, so if your machine falls into any of those categories you should be in good shape.
