Product Questions & Answers

Will this pump work for a dump truck lift?
Question by: Bonnie J on Aug 13, 2025, 6:18 PM
Application-wise, this Danfoss/Eaton 420 Series pump is definitely suitable for dump truck lifts, along with a wide range of other mobile hydraulic applications.

We run a mixed fleet out here, loader backhoes, mini excavators, a couple crawler dozers. This 420 Series pump, does it get used across that kind of equipment or is it more of a single-application part?
Question by: Harold C on Aug 21, 2025, 3:08 PM
Pretty broad coverage on this one. The 420 Series is built for exactly that kind of mixed mobile fleet. Loader backhoes, crawler dozers, and mini excavators are all listed applications, so you're not stretching it to use this pump across those machines. It also covers ag tractors, concrete and asphalt pavers, rough terrain forklifts, and even more specialized stuff like tunnel boring equipment and railroad machinery. For a shop running multiple machine types, that range of use is a real practical advantage.
