Product Questions & Answers

what all kind of equipment is this pump actually used on? got a few different machines on the yard and tryin to figure out if it covers more than one application
Question by: Floyd T on Feb 7, 2026, 7:26 AM
Quite a few machine types run on this pump. It covers loader backhoes, ag tractors, dump truck lifts, mining machinery, railroad equipment, container handling, and all-terrain cranes. On the construction side it fits concrete and asphalt pavers, crawler dozers, articulate haulers, and mini excavators. Forestry equipment like feller/bunchers, forwarders, and log loaders are on the list too, along with rough terrain forklifts, utility booms, tunnel boring equipment, vibratory cable plows, and off-road refuse trucks. So yeah, there's a good chance more than one machine on your lot could use it.

Hey, I'm seeing this pump used in all sorts of heavy equipment. What's it really meant for, like what's its bread and butter?

This Danfoss/Eaton piston pump really shines in mobile hydraulic applications. You'll find it doing the hard work in loader backhoes, ag tractors, mining gear, and all kinds of construction equipment.
