I'm fixin' to replace a hydraulic pump on my old tractor. This Danfoss/Eaton one, will it work on somethin' like a farm tractor?

This X20 series pump is indeed used on agriculture tractors, along with loader backhoes, mining machinery, and other heavy equipment.

pump says it works on loader backhoes and mini excavators but what about rough terrain forklifts? got one sitting here that needs a new pump bad

Rough terrain forklifts are actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so you're in good shape there. The X20 series covers a pretty wide range of mobile equipment including material handling trucks and rough terrain forklifts, so it was built with that kind of demanding, variable-load work in mind.
