Product Questions & Answers

pump's got a 2.50 CID displacement on it -- what kind of equipment is this actually built for? trying to figure out if it fits what we run on the farm and job site both
Question by: Wes W on Aug 10, 2025, 8:52 AM
Quite a few machine types fall within the intended range for this pump. Agriculture tractors are explicitly listed, so farm use is right in the wheelhouse. On the job site side, loader backhoes, rough terrain forklifts, concrete and asphalt pavers, and crawler dozers are all covered. It also fits equipment like dump truck lifts, utility boom trucks, and mini excavators. If you're running a mix of ag and construction iron, this pump was sized and built with exactly that kind of varied mobile work in mind.

I'm lookin at this pump for a log loader, think it'll hold up to that kinda work?

This Danfoss/Eaton open circuit piston pump is definitely built for demanding applications. Its high pressure and flow capacity make it suitable for heavy duty machinery like log loaders, among other applications.
