Will this axial piston pump work okay on my tractor's loader?

This Danfoss/Eaton pump is well-suited for use on agriculture tractors, as well as loader backhoes, articulated haulers, and other heavy mobile equipment.

Got a loader backhoe that's been beating up pumps left and right. Would this 420 Series unit hold up to that kind of work, or is it more of a light-duty deal?

Heavy mobile equipment is exactly what this pump was built around. Loader backhoes are listed right alongside crawler dozers, mini excavators, and articulated haulers as target applications, so it's not a stretch to say this is purpose-fit for that kind of punishment. The 420 Series also carries high pressure and flow capacity, which matters a lot when you're running hard cycles on a backhoe day in and day out.
