What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a loader backhoe and a couple other machines on the farm and trying to figure out if this fits the bill.

Loader backhoes are right in the wheelhouse for this pump. Beyond that, it's also rated for agriculture tractors, dump truck lifts, utility booms, material handling trucks, rough terrain forklifts, mini excavators, crawler dozers, and a pretty wide range of other heavy mobile equipment. If you're running multiple machines on a spread, there's a good chance this pump covers more than one of them.

This Danfoss/Eaton piston pump is used in all sorts of heavy equipment. Loader backhoes, mining machinery, dump trucks, even those big material handling trucks. It's a pretty versatile pump.
