Product Questions & Answers

What kind of equipment is this pump actually built for? Got a crawler dozer and a mini excavator on the same jobsite and tryin to figure out if one pump could work across both machines.
Question by: Eddie A on Jul 12, 2025, 2:44 PM
Both of those machines fall squarely within what the 420 Series was put together to handle. Crawler dozers and mini excavators are both listed applications for this pump, so you're not stretching it at all running this across that type of equipment. The 3.00 CID displacement and the high pressure and flow capacity are what make it practical for the kind of variable load conditions those machines deal with day to day.

I’m wondering what kind of equipment this hydraulic pump is typically used on?
Question by: Frank C on Jun 9, 2025, 4:45 PM
This open circuit piston pump is commonly used on heavy-duty mobile equipment. You'll find it in loader backhoes, crawler dozers, mini excavators, and even concrete and asphalt pavers. It's also suitable for articulated haulers and material handling trucks like rough terrain forklifts.
