Product Questions & Answers

Hey, could this run steady on a dump truck lift without overheating?
Question by: Ronnie R on Jul 5, 2025, 11:34 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this Danfoss/Eaton piston pump should handle a dump truck lift. It's got high pressure and flow capacity, which should provide the power you need.

We run a fleet of loader backhoes and dump trucks out on some pretty rough jobsites. this pump rated for that kind of work or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?
Question by: Rex M on Jun 10, 2025, 10:08 AM
Heavy mobile equipment is exactly what the 420 Series was built around. Loader backhoes, dump truck lifts, rough terrain forklifts, even mining machinery and tunnel boring equipment all show up on the application list for this pump. It runs on an open circuit piston design, which holds up well in the kind of high-pressure, high-demand cycles you see on active jobsites. The 3.80 CID displacement and 62cc rating give it solid flow capacity for that class of work.
