pump's rated at 4060 psi max, that hold up running load sense controls on something like a crawler dozer or articulated hauler all day, or is that more of a peak figure?

At 4,060 psi, that's the maximum operating pressure, and the pressure compensated load sense control on this pump is built for exactly the kind of variable-demand work you'd see on crawlers and articulated haulers. The load sense setup means the pump only puts out what the system asks for, which keeps heat and wear in check during long shifts. Just make sure your fluid stays in that 80 to 188 SSU recommended viscosity range and your filtration is at ISO 4406 cleanliness level 21/18/13 or better, and you're set up for serious continuous use.
