both sides on this union are M30 x 2.0 male thread right? just want to make sure before I order it for a symmetrical connection I got going on

Correct on both counts. Each side carries an M30 x 2.0 male thread in an S20 sizing, so the union is fully symmetrical. That makes it a straight swap for applications where you need to join two DIN tube ends of the same size at a right angle without mixing thread specs.
