For the 41x Series, this part is the spare long nut style in the Danfoss and Eaton line, sold under the Eaton Aeroquip, Weatherhead branding.

what's the material on this adapter, and does it have any kind of coating to keep it from rusting out?

Brass construction throughout, and it carries a Dura-Kote plating finish on top of that. That combination holds up well against corrosion, which matters a lot when you're running hydraulic lines in wet or exposed environments. Brass already resists rust better than steel, so the added plating is more of an extra layer of protection than a crutch.
