fitting's made of carbon steel, that gonna hold up alright for regular hydraulic line work?

got a -5 hose on the bench, is this the right reusable end for it, or am i mixin stuff up?

Match it up by the dash size. This fitting is built for a -5 hose (Hose Dash Size -5) and the hose end of the assembly is the line, hose, tube side.
