aluminum housing on this thing, does that hold up alright on skid steers where it's gettin bounced around a lot?

Aluminum housing on a piston pump can raise eyebrows, but Vickers built the PVE series this way intentionally. The material keeps overall weight down, which matters on skid steer loaders where every pound affects balance and performance. The tradeoff is a lighter footprint without sacrificing the structural integrity needed for mobile hydraulic work. These pumps are rated for that kind of application, so the housing is more than adequate for the vibration and load cycles that come with skid steer use.
