Got a harvester that's been giving us grief with load drift on the header lift circuit. would a valve like this help lock things down better while the machine's running?

Load drift is usually a sign the circuit needs a valve that actively manages backpressure while the load is in motion. The 1CEL30 uses a pilot-assisted relief style with an integrated check, which is built specifically to stabilize moving loads and prevent that kind of uncontrolled movement. For harvester header lift circuits and similar applications, that combination of pilot-assisted relief and check function gives you the load-holding stability that a standard relief valve alone won't provide.
