Will this here flow control valve work on my refuse truck?

flow rated at 150 LPM on this one -- that hold up running refuse haulers or is that more of a light-duty number?

150 litres per minute is a solid working flow rate for refuse hauler circuits. The valve is built for exactly that kind of application, along with harvesters and general industrial hydraulic systems, so it's not a light-duty piece by any stretch. It's also pressure-rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi), which gives you plenty of headroom for the load swings you typically see in that type of mobile equipment.
