So, this is normally open... does that mean it takes power to close it?
Question by: Diane H on Mar 9, 2026, 7:07 AM
Correct. Being normally open, the valve requires power to shift it to the closed position. When power is removed, it returns to its open state.

Got a harvester that keeps blowing valves under heavy load, this S612N rated for that kind of punishment, pressure-wise?
Question by: Rusty W on Dec 19, 2025, 7:10 PM
At 350 bar (5,000 psi), it can handle serious working pressure without flinching. Harvesters are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so it's built with that kind of environment in mind. The hardened and ground steel construction helps it hold up where softer materials would wear down fast.
