Got a harvester sitting down waiting on a check valve and the part number I pulled is 401AA00093A. That the same thing as the 5CK356TS?

So this is a check valve... what exactly does that do in a hydraulic system?

Basically, it makes sure the fluid only flows one way. Prevents any backflow in the circuit, which can be real important.
