does this coil work on equipment that runs all day without shutting down, like a refuse truck on a full route?

Continuous duty is exactly what the C13 Series was built for. Running it on a refuse hauler that stays in operation for extended shifts is a supported use case, so you won't be pushing it outside its design limits in that kind of environment.

Will this here coil work on both 12V and 14V systems without any extra fiddling around?
