clamp hub says it don't need no calibration or adjustment, is that right, or is there some setup involved once you get it mounted?

Correct, no calibration or adjustment is needed with this hub. It's meant to go on without any of that extra fuss. No color coding either, so what you see is what you get right out of the box. Pretty straightforward install for a clamp-style hub.
