rotation on this one is clockwise out of the box, but can it be flipped to run CCW if I need it to?

Clockwise is the standard setup, but switching to counterclockwise is doable. You reverse the positions of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotate the front flange. No special parts needed, just a reassembly. Worth double-checking your port orientation after you make the change since the inlet and outlet positions will shift relative to your hydraulic connections.
