Got a transit mixer that's been eating motors alive out in the field. Would this M39 hold up to that kind of punishment, or is it more of a light-duty situation?

Transit mixer applications are actually listed as a primary use for this motor, so it's built with exactly that kind of demanding cycle in mind. The cast iron construction handles the abuse better than aluminum-bodied alternatives, and the 397 newton meter torque rating gives it enough muscle for that type of load. It's part of the Danfoss Series 1 heavy duty lineup, which tells you something about where it sits in the performance range.
