got a transit mixer that's been tearing through motors and I need somethin that can hold up under constant load. this unit rated for that kind of continuous duty?

Cast iron construction and a 397 Nm torque rating put this motor in solid territory for high-torque continuous-load work. Transit mixers are actually one of the listed application types for this unit, so it's not a stretch to say it was built with exactly that kind of punishment in mind. The fixed-displacement axial-piston design keeps output consistent under sustained load, which is what you want when a motor is working hard all day without much letup.
