pump says CCW rotation, that gonna be a problem if my system's set up for clockwise?

Rotation matters a lot with closed circuit piston pumps, so yes, that's worth paying attention to before you order. This unit is built specifically for counterclockwise rotation, meaning the shaft turns CCW when viewed from the input end. Running it in the wrong direction can cause serious damage pretty quickly. If your current setup drives clockwise, you'd need a pump matched to that rotation rather than this one.
