need a 45 degree elbow with 3/8 female threads on both ends. is that what this one is?

For a 45 degree direction change with matching ends, this fitting has 3/8 inch female NPT threads on both sides, so it fits that 3/8 female to 3/8 female setup.

Both ends are female NPT on this thing, right? Just want to make sure before I go stickin' it into a line that's already got male fittings on both sides.

Both connections are 3/8-inch female NPT, so you'd need male NPT threads on both ends of whatever you're connecting it to. If your line already has male fittings on each side, this one will thread right on without needing any adapters in between.
