these got a G 1/4 thread on em -- will they work with standard BSPP fittings or just the Adaptall stuff?

G 1/4 - 19 is a BSPP thread spec, so the fit is based on that standard. These washers are made to pair with Adaptall fittings and components, but any BSPP connection using a G 1/4 port should accept them. The 19mm outer diameter and 1.4mm thickness are what matter for seating properly and getting a leak-free seal at the joint.

What size is the hole in these washers? I need one that's about 1/4 inch.

These BSPP copper sealing washers are made to fit a 1/4" Side 1 Size, so they should work for your application.
