Will this fitting work for connecting two 1-5/8-12 sized ports?

Thread size on both ends is 1-5/8-12, so does that mean this thing connects two identical ORB ports together, or is there something different about each end?

Both ends share the same 1-5/8-12 thread size, but they are not identical. One end is a Male SAE Adjustable O-Ring Boss and the other is a Male SAE O-Ring Boss. The adjustable end lets you reposition the fitting angle during installation before locking it down, while the standard ORB end threads straight in without that adjustment. So yeah, same size, different function on each side.

got a 1-5/8-12 male ORB port, is this the adapter that’ll match up or am i lookin at the wrong one

Both ends on this adapter are 1-5/8-12 threads built to SAE J514. One side is a male SAE adjustable O-ring boss, and the other side is a male SAE O-ring boss, so it’s meant for ORB-style connections in that same size.
